Aubrilam is now certified to ISO 14001 !
ISO 14001 confirms Aubrilam's commitment to environmental protection. Following an audit of our production site and head office by TÜV Saarland, an approved certification body, Aubrilam was officially declared certified to ISO 14001 on 27 October 2011.
This standard is based on the principle of continuous improvement in a company's environmental performance. Aubrilam has set up an SME (Environmental Management System) that aims to improve the management of waste, optimise our energy consumption, promote our approach towards our co-contractors, etc...
All our staff are involved and are playing an active role in this process; we are already producing tangible results: all our waste is sorted and processed in approved recycling operators.

McDonald’s is installing Moshi columns in its car-parking areas. These columns were prize winners in the ‘Eco-products for Sustainable Development’ category at the Business and Ecology competition organised by the French Ministry for the Environment.
External lighting for the new McDonald’s restaurant in Essen (Germany) is provided by LED luminaires by Siteco in combination with the Moshi columns.
LEDs are the perfect answer for an environmentally sensitive lighting solution.

Aubrilam exhibited at the latest Light& Building fair in Frankfurt from 11th-16th April.
The event was once again a great success, with visitors from 50 countries welcomed onto the Aubrilam stand.

Moshi column wins eco-product award.

At the Pollutec exhibition in Paris on the 1st December 2009, Aubrilam was accorded a special mention by the Businesses and Environment Award jury in the ‘Ecoproduct for Sustainable development ‘ category .
This award is organised by the Ministry for Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Devlopment and Maritime Affairs. in partnership with ADEME.
The Moshi column exhibited to the jury cuts CO2 emissions by a factor of 2.8 and halves energy consumption during manufacture compared with a standard metal column.
Using wooden Moshi columns instead of metal columns throughout the French market would allow:
- a reduction by 55 300 tonnes of CO2, equalling 8,25% of the total emissions by all street lights in France. (source ADEME).
- a saving of 134 megawatt.hours, equalling 2,4% of the total consumption by all street lights in France (source ADEME)
- avoiding 2 435 tonnes of hazardous waste.
